Our first licensed special care home

The Berwick home is a fully Government Licensed, well established house for over 40 years. Where staff provide unconditional support in all aspects of the resident’s life.

We have a lovely, landscaped property with outside sitting areas. Some spots with covered seats to enjoy in inclement weather, and benches in a park like area. We have seven bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, large living room and two sitting rooms with cable TV’s. This facility has round-the-clock care, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Dedicated staff foster a friendly and welcoming ‘home’ environment. All house services are provided to our participants; housekeeping, laundry and groceries.

Our On-staff Activities Coordinator routinely ensures that the residents maintain their medical appointments if respective family members are unable to assist.

beautiful meals

All meals are cooked in-house (expect on special occasions we will order take out) with a dietitian approved menu provided by the Annapolis Valley Regional Hospital. We also cook treats in house with fresh (while in season) veggies and fruits – some of which is donated and provided by staff – for homemade cakes, pies, cookies and more! We encourage our participants to assist whenever possible.
